- The Ops Sup Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team.
Additionally, the Ops Sup Intermediate Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients.
The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.
Responsibilities: Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies Interpret data and results based on the analysis of information and application of professional judgement Apply project management to assist operational projects as assigned Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow Resolve varied and complex issues using professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise Provide informal guidance and training to new and lower level team members, as needed Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications: 2-5 years of relevant experience Proficient in Microsoft Office High level knowledge of related to industry standards and practices Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and detail oriented Proven organization and time management skills Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.

This position is responsible for monitoring incoming partner files, daily settlement, general ledger reconciliation, general ledger journal entries, client projects, and control matters.
The individual in this role will work closely with others in the North America private label partners, Finance, Treasury, Finance and Risk Shared Services (FRSS), Balance Sheet Substantiation (BSS), offshore teams, Internal and External auditors on matters related to financial reporting, and US GAAP.
• Responsible for Account reconciliation review and issue resolution • Ability to identify issues and assist with driving to resolution • Prepares documentation for internal / external auditor requests • Monitor incoming partner files along with timely communication / resolution of file issues identified • Preparation of daily settlement • Strong attention to detail and understanding of risk and controls • Ensure compliance with Citi policies • Ensure compliance efforts are completed timely and reported accurately • Identify and communicate balance sheet risk • Understand accounting systems, processes, and their respective transaction flows • Team player that is willing to complete items at various levels of completion when needed to benefit the team - Job Family Group: Operations - Core - Job Family: Operations Support - Time Type: Full time - Primary Location: Johnson City Tennessee United States - Primary Location Salary Range: $58,700.
