The motorized lock assembly is included and functional.
The bolt hole locations are intact for easy indexing of new repair plate to be welded in.

Don't buy a liftgate with this area cut away, you'll never get the indexing and alignment correct for the lock assembly.
A new liftgate, painted is over $2000, if you can find one.
Used and in good condition liftgates are like hen's teeth.
