*Children’s Director*
(Part-time) 24 hours-per-week
*Primary Role:* To disciple children and parents in raising their children to become biblically literate, spiritually grounded, and discerning believers.
*Position will report to:* Student Pastor
*Description: *Heritage Baptist Church seeks to offer children’s ministry opportunities on Sunday Mornings, Wednesday Evenings, and a once-per-month special activity.
The role of the Childrens Director will be to ensure that these three ministry areas run well, and to always be looking for other opportunities to minister to children and parents.
*Childrens Ministry *
* Recruit, develop, and schedule volunteers
* Maintain the curriculum for:
* Sunday morning nursery
* Sunday morning children's CG’s
* Sunday morning worship hour
* Wednesday night Truth Quest
* Foster relationships with HBC families
*Childrens Ministry Operations*
* Regularly upkeep the materials, supplies, or any other resources pertaining to:
* Sunday morning nursery
* Sunday morning children's CG’s
* Sunday morning worship hour
* Wednesday night Truth Quest
* Collaborate with administrative staff in onboarding new volunteers
* Utilize Planning Center scheduling software for volunteer management
* Oversee cleanliness, supply, and the overall findability of resources in the resource rooms
*Other responsibilities*
* Participate in Staff meetings and other HBC events as appropriate
* Maintain relationships with volunteers, children, and parents
* Oversee coordination of VBS
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.
25 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
