We are currently searching for a Manager to join our accounting consulting services team for local governments in Virginia and Tennessee.
The consulting services group of RM focuses primarily on assisting localities in areas such as:
Audit readiness
Financial management assistance
Internal controls
Requirements:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA or 5+ years of relevant experience
Management leadership experience
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Governmental accounting or audit experience working with Counties, Cities, Towns, Boards, Authorities and Commissions
Preferred:
Strong analytical skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Keen attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as manage a team
Ability to supervise, delegate, motivate, and provide feedback to the team
Effective written and oral communication skills
Work Location:
Greenville, VA or Johnson City, TN
Remote work may be an option
Minimal travel
