Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to event attendees
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables and chairs, decorating, and cleaning
- Manage cash transactions and operate cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety and security of attendees
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or issues with professionalism and resolve conflicts as needed
- Assist with crowd control and ensure a smooth flow of attendees during events
- Collaborate with event organizers and staff to ensure the success of each event
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak confidently in public settings
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations or conflicts with professionalism and calmness
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with events management or previous experience working at events is a plus
- Lifeguard certification or experience working in guest services is a bonus
- Comfortable working with children during family-friendly events
