Registered Dental Assistant

`Great opportunity to join a “patient care centered team” as a dental assistant in an established general practice.
Our office is seeking an individual who is professional, highly motivated and one that enjoys treating patients with compassion and integrity while assisting and supporting the provision of clinical treatment procedures.
Current TN registration is required along with previous chairside experience (minimum 1 year) and knowledge of restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Excellent organizational skills to help promote practice efficiency are important as well as excellent communication skills to help patients understand their dental needs and help maintain dental health for life.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: -Welcoming patients and helping to ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience -Preparation of treatment rooms for patient procedures (set up/clean up) -Direct chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry skills -Maintaining safe and clean work environment by utilizing proper sterilization and aseptic technique -Taking diagnostic digital x-rays and intra and extra oral photos -Fabrication and placement of temporary restorations -Accurate impression taking for diagnostic study model and bleach tray fabrication -Patient education and post-operative care instruction -Maintaining dental supply inventory -Proper documentation of dental care procedures and notes in patient records -Compliance with OSHA and HIPPA guidelines Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.
