Patient Care Technician

Boones Creek Urgent Care is seeking employment of a part time/PRN individual to join our team that is comfortable in a fast pace environment.
Medical office experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include both clerical and clinical support under direct supervision of a Provider.
* Efficient use of electronical medical records (EMRs).
* Answer phones, registration of patients, and scheduling.
* Arrange referrals to specialists and schedule imaging studies.
* Triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws and giving injections, etc.
* Performing and assisting with basic procedures.
* Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all patients and employees.
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere.
* Ability to communicate in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with patients, co-workers and managers.
* Maintain cleanliness of clinical environment.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN Pay: $10.
00 - $14.
00 per hour Medical specialties: * Urgent Care Schedule: * 12 hour shift * On call * Weekends as needed Work Location: Multiple locations
