Our Associated Oral and Implant Surgeons practice is looking for a motivated individual to join our surgical team as a Sterilization Tech!
This is a full-time hourly (non-exempt) position.
No evening or weekend hours!
Hours: Monday through Thursday 7:45am-4pm and Fridays 7:45-2pm.
Location: 508 Princeton Road, Suite 204 Johnson City, TN 37601

What you will do:
Perform and participate in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment
Prepare and arrange instruments, surgical trays, and required material
Utilize personal protection equipment per OSHA guidelines as it pertains to personal safety (i.
e.
protective clothing, eyewear and gloves)
Maintain knowledge of various equipment, expected patient outcome, and anticipated complications.
Proper use of sterilizers, sonic cleaners and other related equipment
Promote a clean, safe workplace
"Chinning" within a surgical setting
Other duties as assigned
