We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team.
As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, performing physical examinations, collecting and processing specimens, and providing basic life support.
```Responsibilities```
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform physical examinations and record patient medical history
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, and IV therapy
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and medications accurately and timely
```Requirements```
- Valid LPN license in the state of [state]
- Minimum of [number] years of experience in acute care or primary care setting
- Proficiency in physical examinations and specimen collection processing
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology
- Experience in home care is a plus
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in airway management and gastric lavage preferred
