*Description*
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our Streamline team.
As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of panels, ensuring they are sturdy and precise.
You will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
As a Framer, your primary task will be to measure, cut, fix, and assemble wood and other materials to build the structural components of panels.
This will involve reading tape measures and schematics, following design specifications, and using various tools and equipment.
You will assemble panel frames ensuring they are plumb, level, and square.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, as well as a strong attention to detail.
You should be able to work well as part of a team and follow instructions accurately and quickly.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are essential in this role.
*Responsibilities*
· Measure, cut, and affix materials according to blueprints and design specifications
· Assemble frames ensuring they are plumb, level, and square
· Collaborate with other team members to ensure jobs are completed within goal and according to specifications
· Maintain a clear and organized work area
· Safely operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment
· Follow all safety guidelines and procedures on job sites
· Perform quality checks to ensure completed frames meet industry standards
*Requirements*
· Proven experience as a Framer or similar role in the construction industry
· Excellent knowledge of construction techniques and materials
· Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
· MUST be able to read a tape measure
· Strong mathematical and measurement skills
· Preferred ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications
· Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment
· Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
· Ability to stand, move, twist and lift throughout the day or continuously
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.
00 - $16.
50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 48 per week
