Base Pay: $16.
25 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for roll forming operations in the production of steel fabrication.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of production techniques, great attention to detail, and a dedication to safety.
Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity.
Ability to read and comprehend documents including but not limited to policy manuals, safety rules/programs, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and simple correspondence
In addition, the ability to communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small group situations and settings is required
Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form a must.
In addition, the ability to solve problems, which involve multiple variables in a standard situation, is required
Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
Ability to work with a diversified work force
Be willing to cross train and be promotable
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation a plus
Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
Willingness to train, certify, and operate forklift and overhead crane
Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
