Certified Crane Operator

*Minimum Qualifications:* * 3-5 years of crane operating experience required, bridge construction preferred * Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record and current DOT physical card required * NCCCO approved crane certification required * Must be able to climb ladders, stand and walk on uneven surfaces as well as sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Operate crane to lift and move materials and other objects * Plan all lifts, use capacity charts * Perform rigging inspection and daily crane inspection * Respond according to hand and/or verbal instructions * Observe the travel of all loads and take appropriate action to avoid injury to personnel or damage to property * Listen to warning alarms and respond accordingly, and dread boom angle and drum rotation indicators * Ultimate responsible person during crane or hoisting operations to ensure the pick is safe * Perform daily inspections and report findings using effective verbal and written communication skills * Be thoroughly familiar with crane control functions * Operate crawler and hydraulic cranes for bridge construction * Keep equipment clean and well maintained on an ongoing basis Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Overtime Experience: * Crane: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * CDL (Required) Work Location: In person
